Let the blogging begin!

Hello friends!  Welcome to my official blog!  I am going to give this technology thing a try, and share with my wonderful friends and fans the experiences I have while on the road.  Enjoy the blog, and I hope to see you at a show near your hometown soon!

Collin

Just for a quick recap, here are the happenings of the past few months.   We had a great run in September at the University of Arkansas at Monticello, The Woodlands TX, Fayetteville, Arkansas, and Mt. Pleasant, Iowa.  We had some great crowds and had a lot of fun!  Here is a killer video from that run--hope you like it!

Next, I headed off to Branson where Melanie and I played with the incredible Country Tonite Band in the Oak Ridge Boys Theater. We had a great time playing with such talented musicians and performing in a state-of-the-art theater. The Country Tonite performers and staff made us feel like family and we made some friendships that will last a lifetime.

After Branson, we headed off to Colorado Springs and Denver and had a great couple of shows.  We played at Cowboys and at the Grizzly Rose, and both nights brought a lot of energetic fans!  It was great to be out West in the mountains again.  After Colorado, Chris, Melanie, and I headed to Salt Lake City and performed our acoustic show for an entire week at the Desert Star Playhouse.  I had fun at every single one of these shows--great food, great fans, and great music!! I felt like I was performing in my living room in the 200-seat theater, and was able to play many of my hits, new songs, and even some covers of artists that have influenced me and my music over the years.  Thank you to all who attended these shows, and to those who have expressed appreciation for my music.

The three of us onstage at Desert Star.

Me with my AMAZING guitar player, Chris Raspante.  What a player!!!

Me and my girl, Melanie Shore. I am grateful to have a piano player that can play ANYTHING!

Well, that's the end of the "quick" recap.  Hope you all enjoyed this first post!

More to come........

Collin

  3. Hey Collin...
Thanks for starting this blog. It's a great way for your fans to keep up with what you are doing with you music and how you are doing, too.
I've been a fan since long BEFORE "Love,Me". Used to see your shows all the time in Reno when you were "Bubba". :)
It's been a long time, but I hope to be able to catch you again sometime. What are the odds you'll be in Omaha anytime soon? LOL

  6. Hey Collin, my wife and I are long time fans, we have been at 100 or so different shows. I was wondering if you plan on doing the Indian Ranch show in Mass this year? Also I was wondering what Sammy is up to these days? I realize that you had to move on, but your long time fans still think of your band as family. Sammy, Geno, Larry, Walter, Van, Joe, Aiden, and even Tiger. I'm not sure that an artist like yourself realizes how attatched we as fans become to the "package". Time moves on. but it is always nice to stay in touch. Best wishes for you and your new band, we will always be fans. A long time ago you made my daughters Christmas wish come true by inviting her backstage to see you and for that and many other meetings we will always be grateful. Be well and we hope to see you soon. jjf13@hotmail.com

  8. I was lucky enough to be in Branson when you were there. Unfortunately a big storm made a lot of people change their tickets but fortunately for me there were empty seats and I was able to move upfront for your show. I'm sure you could see how much I was enjoying your songs. As a fan for a very, long time it was incredible to see your show and the most fun I had while I was in Branson. The Country Tonite singers were absolutely awesome and I will catch their show again when I go back in the spring. It was a very special night for me....Thank you! Janice

  9. My dear Collin, I have not seen you for about 4 years because you haven't been anywhere near me. I miss you,and I hope one of these days I can see you in concert! (In Wisconsin) Twin Lakes is too far and I can't do festivals anymore as I am disabled and get around crowds,
